Sophie Magdalena Scholl (1921 - 1943) was a university student and an anti-Nazi activist within the White Rose resistance group during the Third Reich. She was convicted of high treason and promptly executed at age of 21 after having been found distributing anti-war leaflets in Munich.

 One of my heroes! If you haven’t seen the movie “The Last Days of Sophie Scholl” I highly recommend it. I watched it on youtube earlier this year.

Watched the film a few months ago.
I really admire her courage.
